I am a bird pollinator! I happen to pollinate the plant that provides the most food for me, the `ōhi`a plant. The Ohi’a lehua makes up forests and is the main source of habitat for many animals, plants and invertebrates. Many of Hawaii's federally endangered forest birds depends on ohi’a for food and nesting sites. [5]
