Where do I live? [4]
My home is found on the east side of Maui, Hawaii, close to the Haleakala Volcano.
I am called an endemic species because you can find me and my family in this area only.
I live at high elevations of about 1500m. That's the height of 246 giraffes stacked on top of one another.
My home is wet, cool, and mountainous.
A long time ago, my family was found in Molokai and the west part of Maui.
Thinking question:
Why do you think where I live now is different than where I lived in the past?
